Our Team
Our team of experts is a very important part of your care. The board-certified surgeons are specially trained in the latest surgical techniques, and are supported by a highly qualified, experienced team.
Team members include:

- Nutritionist with bariatrics training
- Affiliated surgeons
- Anesthesiologists and surgery team
- Specially trained nurses and support staff
Because bariatric surgery is a life-changing event - with many of the results coming within the first year after surgery - we continue to be involved in your care after you leave the hospital. Your post-surgery support group is an important part of your care.
Our Bariatrics Coordinator
One of the first people you'll meet in our program is our Bariatrics Coordinator, who is always available to answer your questions. If you decide to have the surgery, our Coordinator will follow you every step of the way and continue to be involved after surgery and during support group meetings to ensure your success.

You're invited to an upcoming seminar
Those interested in learning more about weight-loss surgery are invited to an evening seminar presented by the Bariatric Program at Mercy Hospital. During the session, the scope of the program is explained to participants - from the pre-enrollment assessment to the nutritional counseling and support groups offered after the surgery.
