Welcome to Mercy Hospitals of Bakersfield. We have been part of the Bakersfield landscape for over 100 years.
From its humble beginnings in a home converted by the Sisters of Mercy to care for the poor and infirmed, Mercy Hospitals now has two acute care hospitals to serve the residents of Kern County. The Truxtun Campus is located in the downtown business area and the Southwest Campus is located in the ever growing southwest area and is the only acute care hospital in Kern County west of Freeway 99.
Mercy Hospitals are members of Catholic Healthcare West, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in California.
