For relaxation, take a trip back in time at the Kern County Museum and recapture a bit of local history. There are tons of adventures to enjoy just outside of Bakersfield too. We're within driving distance of the beach or mountains, where you can ski, surf and sightsee. Bakersfield residents often getaway to the California Central Coast, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Napa Valley Wine Country and Las Vegas, Nevada.
